20 Years.
I’ve been gaming for 20 years.
Amazing eh? I came to this sudden realization when I was reading the latest Nintendo Power (yes, I still subscribe). Man I remember when I was 8 and my dad brought home the NES. I remember playing Super Mario Brothers, Zelda, Castlevania and more. I remember playing sick to stay home and play MegaMan. Heck, I remember getting my first copy of Nintendo Power. Just crazy to think it was actually that long ago. Just crazy to think how much gaming has changed since then. Just crazy to think how life has changed since then. But I still find time to partake in this hobby. It’ll be interesting to see where it goes over the next 20 years. I’ll even say it; I can’t wait to one day bring home a game system for my child to welcome with eye widened happiness. But first they’ll have to play some NES 
hahaha. Ok, I guess that’s all I really had to say. Just was interesting and well, shocking, once it really sank in that 20 years of my life have passed that quick.
Busy day today. I have my July Calendar Wallpaper added to my gallery (expect the Warhammer themed one to be added sometime this week). I also launched Release63 of Phirebrush a day early! Enjoy!
Seeing as the studio I’m at works on the Warhammer MMO, I’ve been getting more and more into the Warhammer universe. So why not get some miniatures and attempt to paint them
Went with Mark, Andrew and Mitch to the Games Workshop store in Springfield and got ourselves some figures and paints. Funtimes! If this set goes well I may have to go back for a larger army, mwwhahha. GREENZ IS DA BEST! haha
Hit up the Virginia Brewfest (summer edition) with my friends Mark, May and Mitch. Was a great time. Gorgeous day although my neck is quite red right now, haha, but oh so worth it. Some good beers, expecially the Kona Wailua Wheat beer soooo delicious. Also the Mad Fox “Devils Due” was great, didn’t taste like a beer with a 7.5% alcohol content to it, very sweet and crisp. All in all, great time! Can’t wait for the fall one with my stouts, haha.

Decided to dive in and update the old blog today with the latest Wordpress install, been using 2.0 for quite some time. I must admit, the admin side and the new features are sooooo nice. Big props to the Wordpress crew. As for the look of my blog that may take a bit longer to get around to. I had motivation to update it, not sure about skinning quite yet. So default K2 for now.

Finally done going through all my photos form the events durin the last two weeks (cali, az, bbq) and they are all up on my flickr. Now what’s next? Probably some client work so I can get some extra money to get that new PC built. Had my review at work which went great, got my raise/bonus (which I’m using to pay off some bills and save). Not much else really new, just workworkwork!
